core2 is for Intel Core2 processors, not for AMD.
check to make sure the module is loaded with:
module show like codec_g729
If not, in CLI do the following
core set verbose 20
module load codec_g729-ast14-gcc4-glibc-athlon-sse.so
and see what it says.
Post the results if you are not sure.
