Hello All, It seems to me that passing SIP through my NAT router to * is a fair amount of work what with patching * and opening router ports, etc. In my setup I only need SIP to access FWD numbers.
I have found that any IAXtel user can dial FWD numbers using the prefix 170099. Brief testing shows that this seems to work well for outbound calls to FWD. I may also wich to route 800 toll free calls through IAXtel in order to keep my few POTS lines free for incomming calls. However, I have heard that IAXtel in not particularily reliable. Is this true? Does anyone here make significant use of IAXtel?
