Are there any hardware SIP phones that have IPsec or other encryption built in?

I knew of a few vendors that had products under development (as of August). I don't know where things stand now however. Others might.

You will probably not see IPsec support however. The VoIP world is backing SRTP (bearer) and TLS (SIP signaling) over IPsec. A lot has to do with IKE or, key management in general.

IPsec works just fine. In fact, the softphone on my laptop talks to the corporate network via the same IPsec connection netscape does all the time. Of course, used in this way, things are not encrypted/authenticated end to end.
