>From my perspective, yes. The GIT repository took Dave's latest work,
which I forked and added my latest updates to on my own GIT fork. Dave
has then merged my latest changes back to his GIT repository.

FYI In GIT terms a fork is not a "Fork" in the traditional sense :) it
is more like a branch.
