This time it was Cox cable that crapped out, apparently in the whole area, because as I went from one open wifi router to another, I still couldn't ping anything outside the router.
I hope we an finally get the subject handled next week. Whatever the case, I will try again next Friday at 12 Noon EDT. Sorry about the thing not happening.
