On a 501, you have three line appearances so you can configure line app. two to be auto-answer and still use line app. one as normal phone, hang it on the wall for anyone needs to make a call. If you need more volume, take the headset out and amplify it. There is a lot of information on auto-answer configuration, it's a little tricky but solid once you get it.
