Routers, including the Cisco 3845, shouldn't reboot because you used SIP. If it's a known issue with that firmware, then upgrade does seem like the answer. And reboot? Really? I've seen one problem that sent cpu load to 100% on the 3845, and that was a known issue. We did the reboot ourselves. If you haven't found it's a known issue (on google and the cisco forums) with that version, you should report the problem to Cisco, as you may have a hardware problem rather than a software problem. Of course, getting the firmware to upgrade the router, or reporting the problem to Cisco is dependent on you having a support contract with Cisco. This doesn't cost much compared to the cost of a fully loaded Cisco 3845, and certainly costs less than having a broken router. _______________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona Register Now: http://www.astricon.net asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
