A lot of phones come preconfigured for STUN or ICE, and it is tempting to set Asterisk up with nat=yes. If the firewall is SIP-aware and the SIP-device is NAT-aware, things usually break. Now ask all your customers to figure out whether their firewalls/NAT-routers do SIP-fixup, and tell them to set STUN/ICE accordingly. Most of them will have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Did I mention that I hate NAT? /Benny _______________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona Register Now: http://www.astricon.net asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
