Hi,

Mini-PCI cards such as those from Junghanns (BRI or E1,
http://www.junghanns.net/en/produkte.html), are available.
Are these modules really usable as it doesn't seem very easy to integrate
those in appliances ?
Can someone share its experience with those ?

More specifically, how can you add connectors in appliance chassis ?
Do you need to use a vendor PCI bracket (ie the 1cmx15cm steel piece that is
perpendicular to PCI cards) or can you buy generic connectors (I'm supposing
here that your appliance chassis has a PCI slot available) ?

Let's say you want to include 2 mini-pci cards :
one 2 LAN ports cards
one 1 T1/E1 port cards

Would you have to find one 3 ports PCI bracket (and 3 cables between those
connectors and both mini-pci cards) or should each card be sold with its PCI
bracket (then you would need 2 PCI slots) ?

Regards
