The ATA186I1 is way past end of life, it was the first version of the ATA186, but it's still working with only a couple adjustments to a factory default configuration.
Unlike the brand spanking new Cisco/Linksys SPA2102. Which has a number outstanding issues with Cisco/Linksys tech support. It's taking a lot longer than I was expecting to get the new box working. And I may continue using the ATA186I1 for a couple extra lines after I get the new box up and running. I have a couple versions of the firmware, release notes, and administration guides, etc. But I don't have any user level documentation on how to use its features. All I have done is pick up the phone when it rings and dial phone numbers with area codes. Caller ID does not come up when I use the ATA186, I have seen Caller ID come up when using a near default configuration on the SPA2102. What is the final mainstream version of the firmware that I should be running on the ATA186. And where would I get it. I'm assuming I can't get it from Cisco anymore. Any known, serious issues, that were never addressed because they were discovered after the box was past its end of life? -- Drew Einhorn _______________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
