Aha! Thanks, Leif! I'm not insane. OK, well, maybe I am. I didn't find that bug. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go with 1.6.1.0-rc4. Some of those items in the 1.6.1.0rc4 changelog just look to good to be passed up (or too scary to ignore).
