Ok. What's the difference between "stable" and "in release status"? Does the hierarchy go "beta", "stable", "release candidate", "release status"?

Actually, almost... 1.6.0 is in release status 1.6.1 is in release status 1.6.2 is in beta status (soon release candidate) That's a more accurate way of describing them. Thanks!
