I've never run in to that particular problem myself.  I /do/ have a
Zultys phone here that will try only once to resolve DNS - and wait
forever if it doesn't get a reply.  The Snom never has the same
problem.  (the usual cause for DNS resolution failure is that I've
rebooted the one DNS server on my home network for one reason or another)

I've been running 7.2.23 on my Snom since I sent this original message
and it seems to be fine.  No crashing, no problems with sound quality.
