What does the "zombie" call look like in "core show channels"?
_____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Aggio Alberto Sent: Friday, November 13, 2009 10:33 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [asterisk-users] destroy zombie session Hi all, Some time ago I posted an issue regarding the hangup of active calls from the CLI and someone told me that "soft hangup" should work. Well, in fact it does work, but only if the channel is known, i.e. it doesn't work for zombie channels. For example, I have this scenario (CLI output of command "iax2 show channels") IP-AM-PBX*CLI> iax2 show channels Channel Peer Username ID (Lo/Rem) Seq (Tx/Rx) Lag Jitter JitBuf Format (None) 10.229.47.113 REMOTE_SER 06818/14174 00002/00002 00000ms -0001ms 0000ms unknow 1 active IAX channel IP-AM-PBX*CLI> Here I can't issue "soft hangup" command because I haven't a channel to specify ("None" is not a choice :-) ). Now the question is: is there a way to drop this (zombie) channel off and release frozen resources? Restarting asterisk is not an option (or maybe the last chance if I have no other way to achieve this result :-)) Thanks in advance for your replies. Cheers, Alberto Aggio.
