Most of the OS solutions I've seen require PHP and MYSQL. If you set up a daemon/script to feed to mysql on a common server, most of this would work fine. From my experience, I'd prefer some sort of central script (C/Perl/PHP) that uses AMI to talk to the other boxes.

I have something currently working but it is not as pretty or polished as I would like, although it does work quite well. Are there any opensource options out there? Thanks, Steve T
