My dialplan.xml looks like:

<DIALTEMPLATE>
        <TEMPLATE
                MATCH="#..."
                TIMEOUT="5"
                USER="Phone"
                />
        <TEMPLATE
                MATCH="*"
                TIMEOUT="5"
                USER="Phone"
                />
        <TEMPLATE
                MATCH="1.........."
                TIMEOUT="0"
                TONE="Bellcore-Alerting"
                USER="Phone"
                />
</DIALTEMPLATE>

It seems to work OK with my Asterisk server.

Telnet into the phone and enter "show config"

Do defaultgw, outbound_proxy, outbound_proxy_port, proxy1_address,
proxy1_port, proxy_register, timer_register_expires seem reasonable?
