AMI does not create any log files itself. If actions cause actions that would otherwise get logged then those of course are logged.
You need to receive the response from your action to see if there were problems. The AMI protocol calls for sending action packets and then receiving a response or responses back from that action. The response will sometimes have useful information as to why something does not work. I do not update the voicemail.conf file but here is an example of updating manager.conf: action:updateconfig reload:no srcfilename:base_manager.conf dstfilename:manager.conf Action-000000:newcat Cat-000000:newuser Action-000001:append Cat-000001:newuser Var-000001:secret Value-000001:>nottelling Or agents.conf: action:updateconfig reload:chan_agent.so srcfilename:base_agents.conf dstfilename:agents.conf Action-000000:append Cat-000000:agents Var-000000:agent Value-000000:>1111,1111,Newest one Or queues.conf: action:updateconfig reload:app_queue.so srcfilename:queues.conf.base dstfilename:queues.conf Action-000000:newcat Cat-000000:testing Action-000001:append Cat-000001:testing Var-000001:eventwhencalled Value-000001:vars Action-000002:append Cat-000002:testing Var-000002:eventmemberstatus Value-000002:yes -- Jim Dickenson mailto:[email protected] CfMC http://www.cfmc.com/ On Mar 5, 2010, at 8:10 AM, Anahi Ludueña wrote: > Hi, I'm executing some commands using AMI...
