I'm not sure if that's all is true. Sure, if you add a line in /etc/hosts, that works for most applications, as not all commands follow /etc/resolv.conf.... i just tried, adding a line to /etc/hosts. ping hostname works, but host hostname fails, just as host ip-address. So even when you only put ip-addresses (brrr) into your config files, the reversed-lookup will still spoil the party. -- _____________________________________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- New to Asterisk?
