Could not agree more. I have been using a box with an Eicon Diva Server card, asterisk 1.4, chan_capi, iaxmodem & hylafax for many years and it has worked flawlessly. From a laptop in the field I can send a fax (via a VPN) straight from OpenOffice and receive faxes via email.
