Hello, We have several Asterisk (not Trixbox) running on OpenVZ but i guess its the same with VirtualBox. The biggest problem if you use something below 1.8 will be that you dont have access to a hardware timing source to get dahdi running, or atleast you will have to do some neat tricks to get this running.
