Hello, Is there a way Asterisk can be used to send out SIP invites to external Network Gateways? I.E., I have an Asterisk with some softphones registered on it. I simply want to send out SIP invite, as simple as sip:[email protected];transport=tcp, to an external Gateway, which will in turn establish a call by accepting it.
I dont want my external network gateways to register with my Asterisk. In other words, I am asking if Asterisk can be asked to behave as a Endpoint? -- Thank you...
