Not by as much as you think, because the dialplan is compiled into an intermediate form when Asterisk starts (and again when you execute `dialplan reload`) -- it doesn't have to parse the whole text file for every call. > Can we define variable in external file, and include that external file in > extensions.conf and then use that variable in dialplan?
