When did you checkout your version of Asterisk from CVS ??
This "feature" was put into CVS on the 6'th as a fix for bug #1107 but I
have not seen it in "v1-0_stable".
This is a new feature, that's why it is NOT in 1.0-stable.
Only bugfixes go into -stable. New feautres - in CVS.
