Active controller has its processor - in Asterisk solutions you usually don't need this. About C2 - I didn't try. About fritz: Old cards were supported by isdn4linux, not new (If I remember well old is 2.0, new 2.1). With new you can use only CAPI. CAPI from AVM legally supports only 1 card in 1 PC. And I coundn't make it stable for many days - with Eicon not any problem. I am afraid that Fritz dosn't support point-to-point mode - but I am not sure.
