You must have missed the section of the documentation that says "Each time you call AbsoluteTimeout(), all previous absolute timeouts are cancelled."

Thanks, I did miss that. The volume of all these documents is enormous, each has stuff the other doesn't. I've read the three main docs and the Wiki which is constantly growing. Your answer has helped clear up the question.
