Certainly there is the NAT issue and this should not be underestimated. Also IAX allows optimisation of existing bandwidth between Asterisk servers. The SNOM guys should look over their shoulders at Verbiage who are bringing an IAX phone to market. I suspect it will have a lot of interest amongst this community. Anyone else care to list the differences between SIP and IAX2? If would be great to get a comprehensive list, Mark or the digium guys ???     Barry
