The Digium X100P (well, the X101P now) works in England with the notable exception of support for BT's caller ID.
Some UK cable companies (eg NTL or Telewest) use bellcore (US) caller id in certain areas but they use BT standard in others. The only way to be certain to get caller id with * at the moment is to use an ISDN line (this will require an ISDN line card, not the x101p). The new FXO (external line) ports (available "soon") for the TDM400P will be _capable_ of receiving BT's caller id but whether support for it gets added into the driver is a different matter.
