I am confused as well. They also made it clear that the contract terms included recouping the cost of the ConnectReach for them, so I doubt that TWTC is offering it at no extra cost. My contention with that, of course, is, "why not take my ConnectReach and give it to someone else... you already have had 18 months of me paying for it".
