Have you found a solution yet? I am having the same issue. My account works fine with the IConnectHere soft phone client but not with Asterisk. Inbound lines work fine, outbound returns the same message.

I like to play with their GSM stuff, so I hate to let the account go, but if no one here knows what might be going on, they certainly don't. FWIW I used to prepend "6666" to the dialed number, and it worked fine until last week. Thx.
