Hello,
We use SER as SIP proxy/registrar and Asterisk as the media Server for handling IVRs and Voicemails. The system works fine and the benefit is it is highly scalable.

What would be the main benefit of this combination ? Do you expect SER to handle more registration traffic etc ?
