>From my read over the eicon site the basic difference is the Server card is more heavy on dsp stuff - similar to what they call diva pro on the client side (same card maybe ?) Now why for asterisk do we care about a dsp on a digital line ? I don't get it. Do we not want the digital data from a digital line (after simply running through a modem to pull the line format into a bitstream) input directly into asterisk like a serial port ? We don't care about wav data or reconstructing audio, since we only want to send it on to other stuff digitally anyway - right ? Or have I missed something obvious here ? In fact the regular diva card is noted as having linux support and pro does not have it listed - go figure .... _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
