Can someone plese clarify the correct way to use patlooptest?

I am trying to test my circuit and I have a loopback at the other end. When I run
"./patlooptest /dev/zap/1 30" I get this:

(Error 1): Unexpected result, 255 != 0, 1 bytes since last error.
(Error 2): Unexpected result, 255 != 0, 1 bytes since last error.
(Error 3): Unexpected result, 255 != 0, 1 bytes since last error.
(Error 4): Unexpected result, 255 != 0, 1 bytes since last error.
(Error 5): Unexpected result, 255 != 0, 1 bytes since last error.
