There is at least a suspicion on my part that bug 1902 might be related to specific "systems" that have not yet been diagnosed or documented since it seems one either has echo or you don't, and it does not appear to be related to pstn lines. The few developers that have the tdm card suggest they don't have any echo problems. If you can contribute additional info to any of these, please do so.
