Has anyone tried the new dlink powered switches? I remember seeing an online voip store selling these as a good option for providing power in a voip application. They were price at 1100 for a 24 port model.
The lowest cost solution I have seen are the individual 3com power injectors which can be had for between $16-$25. I have done some minimal testing with one for use with wireless access points and it seems workable, although not a good solution for a high density environment. -- Jonathan Moore Director of Technology Winfield Public Schools Office 620.221.5100 Fax 620.221.0508 Quoting Scott Laird <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > On Jul 19, 2004, at 9:03 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > Look out for 3c17205 switches from 3com and read the QOS thread > > posting here at the moment. > > > > So $1600 for 24 ports.
