Hi Asterisk Users,
finally SIP 302 forward/redirect is
fixed.
You can now sucessfully use Asterisk + Nikotel
alltogether.
With this, you can make outbound calls from
your Asterisk to a Nikotel 99XXXXXXXXXX or even Nikotel PSTN number which both
get redirected (since they are Nikotel VOIP numbers) to the username Nikotel
account (e.g called_party_username@nikotel.de)
Before fixing the problem, your Asterisk was
forwarded to your local Asterisk context searching for the called_party_username
as an extension.
After Mark had integrated promicious redirect into
app_dial.c + chan_sip.c CVS Head sources, it was still not running, since the
authentication failed for the redirect INVITE message popped up all the
time.
But now, finally, after more than 2 weeks hard work
and getting in contact with Mark (Digium) it works!
Besides being able to get forwarded now to a remote
SIP party, this feature should work with more providers than just
Nikotel.
Are there any other SIP providers out there,
who make also use of SIP 302 redirect ?
