I have no experience with Quintum but since it is SIP registration, you
might want to look at this:

I was unable to get X-Lite and SJPhone (both softphones) to register with *
until 'after' I switched to using md5secret.

sip.conf
--------------
[mycontext]
type=friend
host=dynamic
<snip>
username=jack
md5secret=XXXXXX_VERY_LONG_MD5_STRING_XXXX


As soon as I changed to md5secret and restarted * the phones magically
registered with *.
