I have no experience with Quintum but since it is SIP registration, you might want to look at this:
http://voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20sip%20md5secret I was unable to get X-Lite and SJPhone (both softphones) to register with * until 'after' I switched to using md5secret. sip.conf -------------- [mycontext] type=friend host=dynamic <snip> username=jack md5secret=XXXXXX_VERY_LONG_MD5_STRING_XXXX As soon as I changed to md5secret and restarted * the phones magically registered with *. Hope this helps, Matthew ----- Original Message ----- From: "Krystian Filiks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 23, 2004 4:38 PM Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Asterisk <------- Quintum SIP Registration > Hi All > > I'm trying with no luck to connected the Quintum D series Gateway with > the new SIP release to asterisk. > > Have anyone done this? > If yes then how should I configure the sip.conf to accept the registration? > maybe a sample config? > > Thanks > /Krystian > > > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
