Hi Julian- I was using a BT BRI line, with caller ID option enabled. Also, I had to send 1470 before the call because my customer had blocked his outgoing number on this line.
So I'm certain that it works on BRI. BT says in their SIN document (Supplier's Information Note), number 413, that analogue lines and both ISDN 2e and 30e can provide this service. See paragraph 3.2 of this document. Here's the link: http://www.sinet.bt.com Regards Scott Scott M. Stingel President, Emerging Voice Technology, Inc. Message never arrived, however, I was soon called back on the E1 by an automated BT system which sent a message stating that "you cannot send sms messages on this line" Is there anything I need to do before I start sending text messages ? Is it the ISDN30 that is the problem, and do I need to send SMS via standard lines (pots) or ISDN2e lines ?
