Has any one put 3 or more TDM405P or TDM410P cards in a single server? I would like to fit as many as 6 into one box.
I am concerned about several things such as power requirements and the amount of cooling as well as CPU and memory utilization. Is there a difference in the power consumption and heat between the 5.0v and 3.3v boards would one be better than the other for such a dense situation? I have not been able to find any recommendations from digium on this side of things. Has any one implemented this in the past and what did you have to worry about. What type of motherboard/system/memory/cpu did you use or what do you think would be best. I get to start from scratch on this but I would like it to be as dense as possible since it is going into a Colocation Rack at a data center and space is money.
