Is a breakout box like a BIX?
I don't know, what's a BIX? Googling a bit it looks like a BIX may be related to or the same as a 66 punchdown block?
The item I referred to as a breakout box is a plastic box with an AMP50 connector on the side and a 5x5 array of rj11's on the top.
