Or alternatively (if you don't have an outside machine to test from) you could go to http://www.auditmypc.com/freescan/scanoptions.asp where they will port scan your server for you. You can enter the port ranges etc. BTW I'm not affiliated with them in any way, they were just the first google response to "scan my ports".
