Oh I dunno, for telephone IVR you don't need much of a sound stage. Convert a bathroom into one with a lot of insulation, thick carpet and "soft" walls. Throw in a good mic, a decent preamp and mixer to adjust levels and that's about all you'd need for doing good quality IVR voicing.
