Hi Philipp, I have a notebook running in a remote location (powered by Solar) and connected to an ISDN line with an AVM Fritz PCMCIA ISDN card (and chan_capi) - this works very well for me. This may not be helpful to you at all as you are specifically talking about a POTS line.
