You need to setup an account for each Line button depending on how many you want eg. 2 accounts = 4 lines 3 accounts = 6 lines > max 12 lines.
Then tell Asterisk to ring at all the accounts you have setup for that phone. This works well, I had the same issue.

I agree with this solution. When I first setup my * box with Cisco 7940's, I used the same trick used ${EXTEN}a and ${EXTEN}b for my SIP account names, etc. The SIP image for the 79X0 phones will only allow two calls (three when you count two + transfer) per account, so to have more than that (or at least appear to have more), each line button needs to have its own account. Again, this setup works great if you really do need that many simultaneous calls to the same desk.
