i guess it is not a bug, if you leave it long enough the channel hangs up. Can we minimize the delay between the time user A hangs up and the time Channel 1 becomes available again?

hi;

i setup a Meetme conference room and i notice the following behavior:
if A calls confroom over PSTN channel 1
B call confroom over PSTN channel 2
C calls confroom over SIP/Ethernet

then i have all of them talking and the media stream mixed by asterisk. However, if i hang up A, channel 1 is still ocuppied (i try dialing inbound again on channel and it continues to give a busy siganl)

any idea how that can be resolved?

More details needed. Specifically what type of PSTN connection are you using, logs during the time of hanghup, and anything else that seems relavent.

As a quick guess based on the insufficient data given, it looks like
asterisk didn't detect the hangup and therefore didn't hangup the line.
I would love to see the logs showing at hangup time that caller 'A'
actually left the meetme app.
