Is there any workaround as of yet? Or is this something that polycom will have to update in firmware?
It will have to be fixed in firmware, unless the problem is actually in Asterisk; I do not know the actual cause of the problem. Unfortunately since Polycom is not interested in supporting Asterisk, we can't get any help from them to debug it.
