is it, or can it be possible to transfer stuff like HANGUPCAUSE or RDNIS over IAX2? This is really a nessicity for multi-server setups to become any good...
There is a patch floating around (on the mailing list and/or on the bug
tracker) that transports the HANGUPCAUSE over IAX2 in a text message.
Perhaps this could be generalized to allow any user defined variable to be
passed?
I beleive I read some discussion on the topic, and compared to the php register_globals case. we'll probably need some way to distinguish an external variable (sent via IAX2) and an internal variable (global or not).
