The subscribecontext is part of chan_sip2, not in standard Asterisk channels. This was needed if you configure asterisk to accept any SIP uri when dialling. In that case, Asterisk would happily accept subscriptions for any SIP uri in the world.

Isn't that an interesting attitude? CIA would love it, being able to watch the status of any SIP phone in the world!

Anyway, in order to limit the power of Asterisk, I added "subscribecontext" so that Asterisk only accepts subscriptions for local extensions in that context.
