I'm not a Fedora user, but for RHv9 the last step after 'make install'
is 'make config'. That installs the zaptel startup scripts, but again,
not sure if they've been tailored for Fedora. You might check.

Thanks for the tip. Fedora is the same layout as RH9 for files in /etc/init.d so that worked. Don't know why I didn't find it before, but this walkthrough worked perfectly for Fedora Core 1 FC1.
