Check the used codecs in sip.conf. For playback voicemail-audio files, gsm-codec is used.

I am on a gentoo 2.4.x kernel and have compiled in the latest cvs. The CLI indicates everything is fine and playing. Nothing in the logs to indicate any errors either. Simply no audio unless phone-to-phone.
