I have two fax machines, a Canon IR3300 and an old Epson laser fax. I also have a stamp machine that calls in for more money. When these devices were connected to * via a T100P and Adit600 channel bank everything worked *great*. I could send and receive faxes without issue, and the stamp machine had no trouble. I got rid of the channel bank since I use a PRI connection between our KSU and * now. I bought a TDM430P for these three devices. I can now send faxes just fine, but I cannot for the life of me get reliable fax reception, nor can I get the stamp machine to work well. I took out the T100P so there was only one TDM card in the machine (in case there was a problem with interrupts or something) but that was not the problem. There is just something about either the TDM400P card itself or its driver which makes fax reception (and modem communications to a greater extent) unreliable. As I said, fax transmission works great. Weird eh? My solution was to use app_rxfax() and some glue to have faxes automatically converted to PDFs and placed in a samba share. -A. _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
